RPattz's Shaved Hair Up for Auction?

Robert Pattinson, of Eclipse fame, recently had his trademark crazy hair cut off for his role in the upcoming film, Water for Elephants, which co-stars Reese Witherspoon. The shocking development is that the cut hair has gone missing! He was, of course, joking. Here's the interesting part. According to showbizspy.com, "Robert has had his hair cut short for a movie role but his discarded hair has gone missing,” says a source close to the actor. “Someone collected it and Rob is concerned it will end up in some tacky auction. It’s probably about the most valuable hair in showbiz!” Would someone really want to steal the hair that was shaved from Robert Pattinson's head? Maybe Kristen Stewart is using it to create a Robert Pattinson doll. I can't imagine anyone actually wanting it, let alone Pattinson being concerned that it might "end up in some tacky auction". I'm sure there are all kinds of opportunists creating ebay auctions selling "genuine vampire hair" and there are poor fans (read suckers) throwing their money away on a scam. Perhaps we could clone him from the hair sample and there would be a Robert Pattinson for every girl in town! Ugh, the stuff these people have to endure. You have to feel for them. On the other hand, if you'd like to buy some authentic imitation Robert Pattinson hair, let me know. I'm sure we can work something out!

Robert Pattinson appears on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show Wednesday, and the actor discusses one of the important issues of the day: namely, that brand-new haircut.

"I got a terrible infestation of nits and I had to shave it all off," joked Pattinson before revealing his chopped off his locks three days ago for his role in Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon.

And then after a brief digression into the world of nits, gnats and lice, the actor had something else to reveal...

Working that self-deprecating charm, Pattinson talked about the difficulties of being shy and having to speak in public. (Though just like on Oprah, he didn't seem to be having any shyness problems speaking in public on this show.)

"I just like doing things where you have a little time to think about what you're saying. I've always had a problem actually thinking before I open my mouth," said Pattison. "Yeah, being spontaneous or just thinking. I have a problem with thinking."

"Just thinking, period?" asked Ellen.

"Thinking in real time," clarified Pattinson, somewhat proving his point. But at least he has plenty of time to think about what he said before the interview airs Wednesday.

Not even a week after his appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show with his legendary sexy tousled locks still firmly in place, Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson was spotted hiding what looks to be a new buzz cut under a baseball cap while out and about in Los Angeles this weekend. While it’s difficult to see his entire head without x-ray vision, it appears that the British actor has at least shaved the sides of his hair into a close crop. Could it be that our favorite Hollywood vampire has given up his bed head for a more tamed look? Will this new cut be like garlic to his legions of Twihard fans? Robert Pattinson shot to fame after landing the role of Edward Cullen in the movie adaption of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga. His classic good looks off set his messy hair which many consider to be the bed head look. Pattinson has been ask about his hair in the past, and says he doesn't care about it at all. Pattinson can be seen during any interview he gives running his fingers through his long messy 'do.

Justin Bieber, who is the hottest teen idol of the moment gave fans a peek on how he gets his hair just right. Bieber who was featured on MTV's 'Diary' blow dries his hair and shakes his head forward to get the Bieber swoosh. Justin says his hair only takes him about 5 minutes to do. Not unlike Robert Pattinson, Justin Bieber also has his own way of keeping his hair the way he wants it. Bieber can be seen shaking his head to unsure that his hair stays in it's place.
