Peter Facinelli Auctioning Off a Lunch Date for Charity on eBay

By now, every Twilight fan has come to know, quite well, that Peter Facinelli ("Carlisle Cullen" in the Twilight series films) is a charitable guy. He goes to great lengths to help others, and the newest development is no exception to that tradition.

Peter Facinelli announced on his Twitter page yesterday that he's "pimping" himself out for a lunch date, and it is - of course - for charity.

According to eBay, which currently lists the auction at $2,025 with ten bids already submitted, the lunch date was donated by Peter Facinelli to The Onyx & Breezy Foundation, an animal welfare group, and it will be a lunch in New York City for two that takes place sometime between October and December of this year.

Facinelli is a very fan-friendly actor, and a lunch date with him would no doubt be a day to remember.

RPattz Does His Part to Help Stop Sex Trafficking

Stars across the globe have got together to fight sex traf­fick­ing and to pro­tect children. The cam­paign is led by the children’s rights orga­ni­za­tion ECPAT and The Body Shop. The celebri­ties have donated their hand­prints as a contribution.

One in five British adults still do not believe children are trafficked to the UK, according to research by the organizers but, in reality, hundreds of children from over 50 countries are exploited in the UK every year.

Some of them are said to be as young as 11.
